Doubles 1 Day Cup - 12/12/10

With the recent success of the 1 day cups, ConsoleGaming is pleased to announce the first Doubles 1 day cup event run in the Black Ops Arena.

It will take place over Sunday 12th December. The deadlines for each round will be as follows:

Round 1 - 4:30pm
Round 2 - 6:15pm
Semi-Final - 8:30pm
Final/ 3rd place - no deadline

Sign-ups for this event will open on Friday 10th December at 3pm, but I must stress that for these cups to work teams must be certain that they can play when signing up.

The event will be for 16 teams. You can sign your team up to the tournament here

Rosters

Teams playing in this one day cup must have 2 players on their roster 24 hours before the event is due to start. Pickups may be used at the other teams discression, but if a team cannot field eligible 2 players they will receive a loss on the ladder and will be removed from the tournament.


Rules

The ruleset used for this event will be the Doubles Ladder ruleset, with each game being played best of 3 maps (Final will be best of 5). Set maps will be announced on the Saturday, once the tournament is full.

Please note that the AK74u will be BANNED for this 1 day cup.


Prizes


The winning team will receive;

• 300xp on the CG Doubles Ladder.
  
• The crown
  

The runners up will receive;

• 200xp on the CG Doubles Ladder.
  

The 3rd Place team will receive;

• 100xp on the CG Doubles Ladder
